Alawi meets Kuwait's Amir, foreign affairs minister

Muscat: Senior dignitaries from Kuwait, including its Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah reaffirmed their support for Oman's presidency of the GCC during recent meetings with Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, the Sultanate's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs.



Alawi discussed the historic role Oman has played in the GCC with Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, who reaffirmed Kuwait's support for Oman.

On his part, Alawi praised Kuwait's work in various fields during its time heading the GCC Council.

Alawi also met Abdul Latif Al Zayani, Secretary General of the GCC and Khaled Jarallah, Kuwait's Ambassador to Oman among others.
